Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) is a slightly altered form of the essential fatty acid linoleic acid. CLA is a fatty acid. Fatty acids, as well as protein and carbohydrates, have the potential to be used as a fuel source during exercise.
CLA occurs naturally in foods such as cheese, milk, lamb and beef as well as many processed foods – but only in small amounts.
